Metrology Engineer

The group you'll be a part of
Working in the Metrology and Defect Analysis team within the Cleans Products' Lab Operations organization, you will have as main responsibility the management of metrology equipment, development of metrology recipes and analytical techniques, data generation and analysis for customer demos and product development.

1. Develop inspection techniques and metrology recipes supporting data generation and analysis for customer demo support.
2. Independently design and conduct experiments, developing tailored analytical methodologies for product development engineering testing.
3. Plan, carry and oversee complex metrology related projects, documenting results and lessons learned.
4. Analyze metrology equipment performance and partner with suppliers on problem solving and continuous improvement.
5. Schedule and organize preventive maintenances and calibrations.
6. Support development of the site's metrology roadmap in cooperation with engineering teams.
7. Engage with analytical laboratories and wafer suppliers to extend engineering testing offerings.

Who we're looking for
Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 2+ years experience. Experience in optical measurements/chemical surface analysis. Knowledge of statistics, DOE, and problem solving. Proficient in MATLAB/Python. Familiar with quality management and ISO standards. Experience in collaborative, matrixed environments.

What We're Offering
Subject to Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metal Technology Industry (occupation group F). Higher payment negotiable based on qualifications. Monthly salary paid 14 times per year.
