Your main tasks in this role are:
- Leading a team of Project Leaders to implement automated warehouses in a multinational environment
- Acting as a strategic partner for project teams on site during implementation, commissioning and ramp-up of the projects
- Specifying and managing contract terms to successfully deliver complex projects, e.g. test and acceptance criteria, interface definition with building and IT
- Leading detailed design phase to ensure operational requirements and serviceability of the system are considered
- Managing implementation and commissioning of the Material Handling Equipment from user perspective to ensure project is on time, in budget and performs to specification
- Conducting the different phases of testing and acceptance of the system
- Cooperating with the country organisations to make all necessary preparations for a smooth go-live and ramp-up, e.g. providing training, set-up of service team, developing realistic ramp-up plan
- Supporting ramp-up of the system from Go-live to a smoothly running system and final acceptance
- Continuously and cross-nationally coordinating within our international project teams
- Defining standardised project delivery methodology and continuously developing by ensuring knowledge transfer across countries and projects
Your Profile
The requirments of the role include:
- You've completed your studies in the field of technical logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar fields with reference to material flow systems or have gained the necessary skills through work experience
- You have several years of relevant professional experience in warehouse automation as a user, a consultant or with an MHE-supplier
- You were exposed to an entire project cycle from planning to realising a fully operational highly automated warehouse, in a leading role, ideally in grocery retail
- You are ideally experienced in leading an implementation team that is spread over multiple projects and sites
- You are self-motivated, organised and have a passion for automation projects
- You understand that travel is a significant part of project work

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300 *
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
