As a Principal Engineer for Automotive High-Voltage Discrete Power Products on our Research & Development team, you'll have the opportunity to merge creativity with your technical expertise by shaping the future of technology, driving groundbreaking projects, and bringing new ideas to life. Your role includes overseeing one of the world's largest Automotive High-Voltage Discrete SiC Power Product Portfolios as an application engineer with a focus on systems such as OBC/DCDC, AUX drives, and other non-inverter HV loads.
- Identify and evaluate new system concepts, topologies, and application scenarios
- Finalize and own product requirements as input for development projects
- Serve as primary technical interface for lead customers in early sampling stage
- Promote new products to customers with clear value proposition
- Develop technical presentations, publications and conference talks
- Apply structured problem-solving methods to resolve complex technical challenges
- Act as technical expert lead, share knowledge and mentor team members
- Contribute to intellectual property generation and technical innovation
Qualifications: Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Physics or related field; 7+ years in power electronics design with focus on DC-DC converter topologies, PFC, SMPS; expertise in High-Voltage SiC discrete devices; strong problem-solving skills; technical leadership abilities; excellent communication skills.
