Responsibilities and Duties
Installation and Commissioning
- Install new equipment or systems at customer sites
- Configure and calibrate machinery to meet performance standards
- Perform initial tests and ensure successful handover to the client
Maintenance and Repairs
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs or replacements
- Keep equipment running efficiently and reduce downtime
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain service logs and complete service reports
- Document technical issues, solutions, and parts used
- Report findings to the service or engineering team
Customer Relationship Management
- Act as the face of the company to customers
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Explain technical issues clearly and professionally
Compliance and Safety
- Follow safety regulations and company policies
- Ensure equipment complies with industry standards and local regulations
- Execute risk assessments when required
Travel and Scheduling
- Travel frequently to customer sites, sometimes on short notice
- Work flexible hours for urgent repairs or service
