
Data Steward (m/f/d) - SAP S/4HANA Migration

As a Data Steward (m/f/d), you will support our client's local rollout team as part of the S4E program. You will be responsible for extracting, cleansing, and validating data at the local level, ensuring it is correctly prepared for migration to SAP S/4HANA. Working closely with the Data Migration Manager, you will participate in workshops, mock cycles, Go-Live, and Hypercare, serving as the central point of contact for all data-related inquiries.
Your Responsibilities
- Strategic Alignment: Support the alignment of local data migration with the overarching global strategy.
- Scope Management: Assist in finalizing the migration scope.
- Workshops: Participate in data migration workshops for validation and requirement coordination.
- Data Preparation: Create and maintain mappings; support data cleansing and enrichment activities.
- Execution: Perform data extraction, cleansing, and validation tasks.
- Testing & Cut-over: Contribute to mock cycles, Go-Live simulations, cut-over tasks, and pre-/post-load checks.
- Analytics: Support the transition to local or satellite reporting during the Hypercare phase.
- User Support: Assist end-users with data-related questions during Go-Live and Hypercare.
- Issue Tracking: Clarify, track, and document data-related issues.
Your Qualifications
- SAP Expertise: Experience with SAP, ideally with S/4HANA data objects and migration processes.
- Data Analysis: Solid skills in data analysis (Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools).
- AI Interest: Initial experience with or a strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (e.g., analysis tools, automation, AI-based support).
- Languages: Excellent English skills; German is considered an advantage.
Education & Experience
- Background: University degree (University/FH) or secondary school diploma (Matura) with relevant professional experience.
- Experience: Ideally, initial experience in data management, ERP rollouts, or validation processes.
- Soft Skills: Structured and precise way of working; a passion for data, analysis, and process understanding.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
