Our client is a successful and internationally operating corporation specializing in the production and distribution of high-quality automotive refinishing paints and related services. As part of its ongoing expansion, it is seeking motivated and qualified professionals to join its dynamic team.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • In your role as Business Development Manager, you serve as the key interface between production plants, marketing and the technical community.
  • Your primary focus will be on acquiring, developing and supporting customers and distribution partners to ensure sustainable growth.
  • You develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers within customer and distribution partner organizations to drive business growth and you lead the continuous business development of specific brands within the assigned countries.
  • Enhancing the skills of distribution partners to promote an independent sales approach and professional service offerings is also key part of your role.
  • You plan, develop and implement market and customer strategies, marketing concepts and product portfolios aligned with corporate goals.
  • You manage the entire sales process for key accounts, including contract implementation and pricing strategies.
  • You monitor and follow up on sales, distribution and service performance, initiating necessary improvements and counter-measures.
  • You manage your activities primarily from your home office; therefore, your place of residence is not a critical factor for this position.
  • Your travel activity will be approximately 50–70% within Europe.

Your background:

  • University degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field of study, alternatively a completed apprenticeship in the automotive bodyshop or automotive refinish paint industry with relevant experience
  • Several years in the automotive bodyshop or automotive refinish paint/aftersales industry, with strong sales and business development experience
  • Deep understanding of automotive bodyshop processes and refinish coatings, along with project and conflict management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Good command of English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
