Our client is a premier international engineering partner, renowned for its know-how and the elite team supporting the world's most iconic automotive brands. To expand their team in Bratislava, we are looking for an expert for a demanding, hands-on position focused on the cutting-edge field of EV and Car Electronics.
This role is for a Senior Quality Engineer specializing in automotive electronics who will be embedded directly within high-stakes client projects. We need a dedicated professional who thrives on responsibility, solves complex challenges head-on, and is not afraid of the pressure that comes with working at the pinnacle of the automotive industry.
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will own the quality lifecycle for critical EV and electronic components.

Your tasks:
- You will be responsible for quality reporting to the part leader, customer, and OEM.
- You will actively participate in new project launches, especially in the E-Automotive segment, and provide quality support directly at local and international plants
- In cooperation with the cross-functional team, you will resolve quality issues and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions (e.g., using the 8D methodology)
- You will perform quality inspections of key components such as automotive batteries, wire harnesses, and printed circuit boards (PCBs)
- Your role will include identifying and analysing potential risks in the product and process (Product & Process FMEA)
- You will take part in internal process and product audits, collaborate with suppliers to ensure compliance with quality requirements and coordinate corrective actions as needed
- Your work will also include serial release according to VDA standards and reviewing technical documentation and control plans
- You will use data analysis tools to monitor quality trends and provide actionable insights (Cubing, QTaPPF)
Your Profile
- A technical university degree with a focus on electrical engineering (preferably high-voltage) is your strong suit
- You already have 3-5 years of experience in quality management within the automotive industry
- Experience with products such as automotive batteries, wire harnesses, or other electrical/electronic systems is a major advantage
- You have a good knowledge of standard quality tools (FMEA, 8D, PPAP, Control Plan) and understand their practical application
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA2 standards is welcome
- You have an analytical mindset, are proactive, and enjoy learning new things
- Strong problem-solving skills, technical understanding, effective communication, and familiarity with root cause analysis techniques are expected
- Sloval or Czech as a mother tongue, plus fluent English (min. B2 level) are required; communicative German is a significant advantage
- You are flexible and willing to travel as required by the project
