Lam Research seeks a Site Quality Lead to join the Customer Support Business Group. In this role, you will ensure operational excellence of complex semiconductor equipment through on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services. Key responsibilities include providing quality field support, troubleshooting equipment issues, maintaining technical records, and serving as a subject matter expert for customers.

  • Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for Lam’s electro-mechanical systems
  • Perform analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving to minimize equipment downtime
  • Maintain technical knowledge through continuous learning and certification
  • Assist with complex field modifications and customer communications
  • Mentor junior engineers and deliver technical instruction

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field + 5+ years experience (or Master’s + 3+ years)
  • Experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation/maintenance
  • Ability to interpret electrical/mechanical schematics
  • Clean room work environment experience
  • Frequent travel required (domestic and international)
