Lead Principal System Architecture Solid State Transformer

Join Infineon as a Lead Principal System Architecture Solid State Transformer on our Customer Collaboration and Technical Marketing team. Work hand-in-hand with customers to transform products into cutting-edge designs and build long-lasting partnerships.

• Develop system architecture descriptions and application requirements for Solid State Transformers
• Perform technical evaluations supporting Design-In activities for Sales and Marketing
• Define system architecture, functional blocks, and application use cases
• Contribute technical content to application roadmaps and future product development
• Act as internal subject matter expert and provide training to colleagues and customers
• Build relationships with customer pre-development teams to identify requirements and market trends
• Engage with internal stakeholders to solve complex problems using global expert networks

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
• At least 10 years of experience in Power Conversion Applications
• Strong problem-solving and independent/colaborative work skills
• Experience with PLECS, SIMetrix, or similar simulation tools
• Laboratory proof-of-concept hardware design and validation
• Proactive mindset with strong stakeholder management
• Excellent English communication skills (German advantageous)
