We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Annotation Specialist to join Amazon Prime Air's AI/ML team.
You will be responsible for labeling complex aerial imagery, sensor data, and flight telemetry to create high-quality training datasets for our autonomous drone delivery systems.
Your work will be crucial in helping our AI systems navigate safely, identify landing zones, and operate in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Annotate and label aerial imagery, and sensor feeds according to Prime Air's safety-critical guidelines
• Create precise object detection annotations for obstacles, buildings, vehicles, and landing zones
• Label and classify various weather conditions and environmental factors affecting drone operations
• Perform semantic segmentation of terrain features and no-fly zones
• Annotate flight path data and delivery route optimizations
• Verify and maintain quality control standards for safety-critical AI training data
• Collaborate with ML engineers to refine annotation standards
• Identify and report safety-relevant edge cases and unusual scenarios
• Follow strict aviation compliance and data security protocols

• Basic understanding of 3D spatial relationships and geometry
• Proficiency with computers and ability to learn specialized annotation tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with aerial imagery or satellite data annotation
• Background in aviation, drone operations, or aerospace
• Familiarity with 3D point cloud labeling
• Experience with computer vision annotation tools

• Will require security clearance
• Must be comfortable working with AWS tools and platforms

Gehalt
For the advertised position, we offer you a minimum salary:
By: EUR 2473,00 (full-time) brutto/month
