The impact you'll make
As a Product Engineer, you thrive in a high-stakes, dynamic environment, driving product development at the forefront of the semiconductor equipment industry. Collaborowing closely with customers and internal teams, you provide real-time problem-solving to enhance our products.
What you'll do
- Troubleshooting and regular maintenance of lab equipment
- Mechanical and electrical start-up of new lab tools
- Support process engineers in executing customer demonstrations
- Support product development through design validation tests and improvement proposals
- Document tools configuration and report test results
- Support LAB facilities and participate in LAB On-Call team
Who we're looking for
Minimum Qualifications:
- Electrical or Mechanical apprenticeship training
- Excellent electronic engineering skills
- Good understanding of electrics and wiring schematics
- Proficiency in MS-Windows and MS-Office
- Good English communication skills
- Structured and organized working style
- Ability to work independently with flexibility in a cross-functional environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or equipment suppliers
- Handling hazardous chemicals and gases
- Experience with pneumatic systems and robotics
What We're offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for employees in the Metal Technology Industries in occupation group D or E, depending on education. Higher payment negotiable based on expertise. Monthly salary paid 14 times per year.
