Technical Writer

Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia, web-based publications and user sites; may produce content for embedded user assistance technology. Conducts interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation. Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for nontechnical and technical users.

• Create, update, and maintain high-quality technical documentation for products, systems and tools
• Develop user-focused content including installation guides, safety and troubleshooting procedures
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise content for diverse audiences
• Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, usability, and compliance
• Manage documentation throughout product lifecycle
• Support structured authoring and content reuse practices
• Leverage modern documentation technologies including AI-assisted tools

Minimum of 8 years experience with Bachelor's degree (or equivalent). Strong written/verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented problem solver with passion for accuracy and user experience. Collaborative team player.

Preferred: 4+ years in semiconductor equipment documentation, experience with technical drawings/specifications, knowledge of documentation standards.

This position subject to Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement. Salary paid 14 times per year.
