
GBS Manager Strategy & Service Management (f/m/d)

Your main tasks in this role are:
- Lead and mentor internal team members and stakeholders within the newly established Global Business Services (GBS) team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Evolve the existing GBS strategy in line with ALDIs global strategic objectives and operationalise underlying measures
- Design and operationalise international board requirements
- Oversee the development and implementation of service management within GBS projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals
- Define strategic GBS goals and translate them into tactical actions in line with ALDIs overall strategy and demonstrate expertise in organisational change and communication to enhance project success
- Support internal stakeholders and clients with in-depth performance analysis, providing actionable insights for decision-making
- Develop and produce global non-financial KPI reports and analytics to enable data-driven management at scale
- Oversee capability building within the Strategy & Service Management function to ensure sustainable excellence
- Drive significant value creation for Aldi globally through the further development of the GBS organisation and the extension of the current service portfolio
- Monitor and enforce SLA compliance to meet agreed performance standards;standardize and harmonize transformation transition strategies and ways of working
- Harmonise project deliverables and documentation to support process consistency and knowledge sharing
- Act as the primary interface between the service management team various international stakeholder, driving innovations and process improvements
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support end-to-end service excellence
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
- Relevant degree in business administration, business psychology, communications, HR, or related fields
- Several years of professional experience in strategic and organisational development within GBS, shared services, or consulting environments
- Ability to lead a team of 1-3 employees, fostering growth and collaboration
- Experienced in driving organisational transformation initiatives
- Skilled in senior leadership communication, effectively conveying strategic vision
- Experienced in presenting recommendations, gaining consensus and generating excitement for new ideas
- Exceptional people-focused approach, with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders
- Outstanding communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively in a multinational and cross-functional context
- Experience in creating engaging presentations
- Fluent in English, German would be an advantage
- Willingness to be part of a new and growing team and the ability to shape the future of the GBS organisation
- Comfortable in a ‘start-up’ environment where processes, responsibilities and structure are still evolving

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualification
