How You'll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

• Being part of a complex multi-department modelling process determining future supply chains
• Developing data packs, defining requirements for warehouse automation projects
• Creating concepts, material flows, and estimating CAPEX/OPEX of intralogistics solutions
• Developing future intralogistics solutions within the ALDI SÜD Group as part of a team
• Collaborating with operations experts, internal experts, consultants and technology providers
• Evaluating tender documents for automation solutions and advising technically in a team
• Horizon scanning to identify and evaluate emerging technologies, processes, and ideas

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

• Successfully completed studies in technical logistics, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field with a focus on material flow systems
• Passion for logistics planning and technical intralogistics (automation, and system planning)
• Exhibition of an analytical and logical mindset with a strong interest in numbers and data
• Ability to work unsupervised and in an organized manner to develop effective solutions
• Fluent English language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 54.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
