The power electronics team located in Villach is seeking motivated students to work side by side with our scientists and research engineers towards scientific paper contributions, preparation of lab setups and building prototypes and test setups for various scenarios.
This position is meant for students from bachelor to master level from Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences.
Your future tasks include:
- Electro-Mechanical Investigations of Thermal Interface Materials for Power Electronic applications
- Thermal Imaging and Cooling System Analysis Within the Scope of Power Electronics Cooling
- Testing and Characterization of Power Electronic Devices and Modules
- Reliability Testing, Evaluation and Modelling on Power Semiconductor Devices and Components
- Testing and Evaluation of Power Electronic Converters in an EV charging setup
- Design and Prototyping of Mechanical Assemblies for Power Electronic Lab Setups
- Implementation of Communication Interfaces, Energy Monitoring and State-Machines for an EV charging setup
