
Production Control Planner

Production Control drives on-time delivery by directing the flow of materials through the factory, ensuring the right part is in the right place at the right time to support production and customer commitments. This role is responsible for end-to-end execution of production orders, management of material flow, mitigation of supply and execution risks, and coordination across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, and Engineering to achieve operational and customer delivery objectives.
- Ensure manufacturing & warehouse loading on time and closely monitor material availability.
- Coordinate with various departments such as procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor the production process to meet few or no delays and ensure deadlines.
- Analyze production specifications data to maximize production output.
- Review and adjust the schedule where needed due to design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions.
- Maintain and manage inventory levels, ensuring the availability of necessary materials for production.
- Create and submit status and performance reports, collating and interpreting data on the production plan's progress.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse, and other staff.
Who we're looking for
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Relevant work experience in a Clean Product Group Environment
- Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines
- Solid communication skills in English and German
What we're offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F depending on Education. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
