Finance Manager - FP&A (m/f/d)

• Temporary Position until December 31, 2025
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Weekly Hours: 38 Hours
• Annual Salary: Approx. €90,000 gross
• Work Location: Industriestrasse 67, 1220 Vienna
• On-site Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week in the office

Your Responsibilities
As Finance Manager FP&A, you will play a central role in our planning and controlling processes, with a strong focus on standardization, process optimization, and system integration. You will take ownership of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and strategic planning. In this role, you will coordinate the Mid-Year Cycle (MYC) planning process and support the team in the integration and effective use of our new BioLife finance planning tool. Furthermore, you will contribute to the standardization and harmonization of planning processes and templates across the BioLife finance teams.

In close collaboration with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders from different functions, you will ensure transparency and alignment in financial targets and results. You will support and drive month-end close (MEC) activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and enabling continuous improvements. In addition, you will provide actionable insights through financial modeling, performance analysis, and KPI reporting. Ensuring compliance with financial policies and internal controls will also be a key aspect of your work. As a sparring partner for business functions, you will play a key role in data-driven decision-making and continuous development of financial processes and tools.

Your Profile
You have a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a comparable field. You bring at least three to five years of professional experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Finance Business Partnering, ideally in an international setting. You have a strong understanding of planning cycles, reporting processes, and forecasting methods. Proficiency in financial tools such as SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar systems is required, along with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Your working style is structured, precise, and solution-oriented. You are a strong communicator and confident in working with various stakeholders. Fluency in English is required; German skills are an advantage.
