Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.
What you'll do
- Responsible for the design of new products and lifecycle management of existing electronic circuits
- Component selection, design, development, testing and evaluation of control circuits
- Work with multidisciplinary engineering design team
- Prepare and analyze test plans and procedures
- Collection and analysis of material and data for design reviews
Who we're looking for
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering with 2 years of industry experience or Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience or Technical college (HTL) with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on expertise in power and controls technologies
- Knowledgeable in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation
- Solid understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems
- System level knowledge of Electrical architecture and integration
- Very good oral and written communication skills in English
- Excellent IT knowledge (MS Windows, MS Office)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with field busses (e.g. EtherCAT)
- Ability to drive functional requirements in dynamic team environment
- Familiar with design for serviceability, manufacturability, reliability
- Proficient at troubleshooting systems with protocol analyzers
- Experience in troubleshooting with problem-solving techniques (5-why, 8D)
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
