How You'll Make Your Mark
Your main tasks in this role are:
• Supervising a team of international Experts for implementation of automated warehouses with focus on the Automation WCS (and WMS where applicable)
• Acting as strategic partner for project teams on site throughout the complete project live-cycle
• Defining a global standard for automated WCS processes in co-operation with operations and ALDI DX (our international IT) and guiding your project team in application of this standard to individual project and supplier requirements
• Developing standardised testing and acceptance procedures to ensure successful delivery of complex projects
• Giving guidance to your team throughout the project from detailed specification through the different testing phases to ramp-up and final acceptance
• Supporting your team to make all necessary preparations for a smooth go-live and ramp-up, e.g. providing training, set-up of a WCS service team and establishing escalation procedures
• Continuous and cross-national coordination within our international project teams
• Establishing a communication framework for knowledge transfer and continuous improvement across countries and projects
Your Profile
The requirements of the role include:
• You have completed studies in the field of technical logistics, information technology, industrial engineering or similar fields with reference to material flow systems or have gained the necessary skills through work experience
• As Manager Warehouse Automation WCS you have several years of relevant experience in specifying, testing and implementing WCS processes for highly automated warehouses
• You have completed the project cycle from planning to realising a fully operational highly automated warehouse, with significant responsibility for project delivery, ideally in grocery retail
• Ideally experience in leading an implementation team that is spread over multiple projects and sites
• You are self-motivated, organized and have a passion for automation projects
• You are a good communicator and good at building productive work relationships with your connected departments, e.g. Automation Technology, Aldi DX, Operations and the suppliers WCS-Team
• You understand that travel is a significant part of project work

Remuneration
Gross annual salary starting from € 104.300*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
