How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You’ll contribute to the development of group-wide concepts for (Investment-) Controlling, the approval of investment initiatives, and their ongoing tracking
  • You will focus on validating and reviewing existing financial models, provided by different national and international departments, rather than building or filling them from scratch
  • As part of your role, you will use benchmarking, scenario analysis, and sensitivity testing to gain deeper insights into the reliability and quality of key inputs and drivers of business cases and help the company making well-informed and sound investment decisions
  • You are responsible for developing and supporting structured decision-making frameworks for senior management, presented through verbal discussions, written reports, or PowerPoint presentations
  • Independently reviewing and preparing data for international ad-hoc requests, while working closely with other Group Controlling teams, where a solid understanding of the Group’s financial results is essential, compliments your responsibilities

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have completed a university degree in finance, controlling, mathematics, or a related field
  • You possess several years of experience and interest in areas such as financial modelling and business case creation or validation. Alternatively, you have experience in auditing or similar fields
  • You have a deep understanding of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and operational interaction, with a keen interest in how changes can impact financial performance
  • You demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • You bring excellent communication skills, and confidently engage in international meetings, asking critical questions with professionalism and tact
  • You combine a solution-oriented, collaborative mindset with a structured, and independent working style
  • You are open to work in an international team and environment, where alignments and communication are key
  • You are proficient in MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • You are business-fluent in the English language, German is a plus

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 60.900*  
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
