Field Service Engineer 3

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to join our Customer Support Business Group. This role involves providing on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

• Perform analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime
• Maintain and update customer equipment through installations, modifications, and repairs
• Serve as a subject matter expert and maintain strong customer relationships
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years experience (or Master's with 3+ years)
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation and maintenance
• Ability to work in cleanroom environments and frequent travel

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytical problem-solving
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
