Frontend Engineer (TypeScript / Next.js)

Profile

• Development and further improvement of modern web applications with TypeScript
• Working with Next.js (16+), React (19+) and React Server Components
• Setting up and maintaining UI and feature modules, testability and performance
• Clean architecture decisions (e.g., routing, rendering strategies, state, data fetching, streaming)
• Maintenance of linting, formatting, and build tooling, as well as helping to shape code standards
• Supporting the deployment and operation of web services, including basic maintenance and monitoring tasks
• Targeted use of AI-supported/agentic coding approaches to create readable, consistent, and maintainable code

Wanted

• Several years of experience with TypeScript
• In-depth experience with Next.js 16+, React 19+, and React Server Components
• Confident use of ESLint, Prettier, Biome, and/or Vite
• Experience in DevOps (Docker/Podman deployments, container registry workflows, basic understanding of server administration)
• Knowledge of reverse proxies: Nginx (or Traefik/Caddy/HAProxy), including typical production setups
• High quality standards and a structured and clean way of working
• Experience with CI/CD, observability, or performance optimization is an advantage
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
