Software Developer PHP (m/f/d)

Profile

In this position, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our internal customer management tool (CRM) and the customer portal of the netcup brand. You’ll work both independently and as part of a collaborative team on exciting projects and can imagine specializing in one or more of the following areas:

Frontend Development

  • Enhancing our Customer Control Panel: [ ausgeblendet ]
  • Further development of our internal CRM tool

Backend Development / Domain Management

  • Integration of internal and external APIs
  • Automation of internal processes
  • Refactoring legacy code into clean, maintainable code
  • Developing microservices with a focus on performance

Our Tech Stack

Backend

  • PHP (7.3+), PHPUnit for testing
  • SQL (MariaDB)

Frontend

  • HTML5, JavaScript (jQuery), Bootstrap

Project Management & Documentation

  • Jira and Confluence

Development Environment

  • PhpStorm

Testing Systems

  • Bash, Ansible, Docker

Wanted

  • Strong experience with PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP)
  • Proficiency in core frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Practical experience working with high-performance, persistent relational databases
  • Solid experience with at least one relevant framework in your area of expertise
  • Confident working with APIs (REST, GraphQL)
  • Experience with RESTful and SOAP APIs
  • Familiarity with Linux and a good understanding of networks, server services, and distributed systems is a plus
  • A keen interest in continuous professional development
  • Good written and spoken German and English skills
