Senior Software Developer PHP (m/f/d)

Profile

In this position, you will further develop our internal customer management tool (CRM) and the customer portal of the Netcup brand, among other things. You will work in a team but also independently on complex tasks and can imagine working in one or more of the following areas:

Frontend development

  • At our customer portal (Customer Control Panel) [ ausgeblendet ]
  • On our internal customer relationship management tool (CRM)

Backend development

  • Domain management
  • Connecting internal and external APIs
  • Automation of internal processes
  • Refactoring our legacy code into clean code
  • Microservices with a focus on performance

We use these technologies:

Backend

  • PHP (7.3+), PHPUnit for testing
  • SQL (MariaDB)

Frontend

  • HTML 5
  • JavaScript (jQuery)
  • Bootstrap

Project management and documentation

  • Jira and Confluence

Source code versioning, building and deployment

  • Gitlab, Gitlab CI/CD

Development environment (IDE)

  • PhpStorm

Test system

  • Bash, Ansible, Docker

Wanted

  • Very good experience with PHP (OOP)
  • Routine in dealing with relational databases with high demands on performance and persistence
  • Experience with APIs (RESTful, SOAP)
  • Experience with Linux, as well as an understanding of the interaction of network, server services, and distributed systems advantageous
  • Good knowledge in German and English
