Job Summary: Develop and evaluate wet clean/etch process formulations, coordinate design requirements, and support customer technology management in semiconductor manufacturing.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Operate on cutting-edge technology to push technical boundaries in semiconductor processing
- Develop new process formulations and define equipment hardware requirements
- Evaluate test data and coordinate design requirements
- Act as single point of contact for process-related customer requests
- Drive introduction and evaluation of new technologies at customer sites
Key Responsibilities
- Perform professional process engineering research, development and evaluation
- Review processing techniques and methods for product manufacture and fabrication
- Conceive and plan projects involving new concepts and approaches
- Collaborate with customers and senior engineers on roadmaps and requirements
- Act as customer technology manager for planning, data collection, analysis and reporting
- Serve as resource for less experienced colleagues and lead small projects
Qualifications
- MSc in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or Physics with 6+ years of semiconductor industry experience in wet clean/advanced packaging, or PhD with 4+ years
- Experience in chemical laboratory work, surface preparation and analytical techniques
- In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
