Key responsibilities
- Design of masks and layouts for silicon power MOSFETs balancing process sequences, tolerance requirements and electrical performance targets
- Definition and enhancement of design environment including reference libraries, design rules and verification scripts
- Interface between customer and Mask House Development
- Development of electrical characterization structures, test programs and methods
- Contribution to design rules manual in collaboration with Process and Product Development teams
- Support of Process Design Kit and Product Layout teams
- Provision of physical design expertise throughout product lifecycle
Qualifications
- Higher technical school or university degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Computer Science
- Sound knowledge of semiconductor process technology, semiconductor physics and MOSFET electrical behavior
- Professional experience in planar CMOS design and/or vertical MOS design
- Good knowledge of design to reticle flow
- Programming skills with Python or SKILL and Unix environments
- Experience in power MOSFET or analog/mixed-signal layout design using EDA tools
- Fluency in English and German
