How You’ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • You'll lead end-to-end tender processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ), including market research, supplier discovery, and technical and financial evaluation in strategic sourcing
  • You'll support the planning, implementation, and optimization of international procurement for financial services by managing procurement activities such as contract negotiation, price obtaining, quotation checks, and conducting proactive, independent research related to financial and consulting services procurement
  • You'll collaborate closely with international suppliers, service providers, and ALDI SOUTH countries worldwide within the financial services domain
  • You'll partner with Finance, Legal, and Business heads to define requirements and manage internal demand effectively
  • You'll maintain and control purchasing records in a timely manner and ensure information in procurement systems is accurate at all times
  • You'll act as the main contact for developing existing and building new supplier relationships in financial and consulting services
  • You'll investigate and document existing business processes and propose overarching strategies related to financial services procurement
  • You'll draft and edit contracts and presentation documents within the financial services area

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or Supply Chain Management
  • You have several years of professional experience in the procurement in indirect categories, specifically Professional Services, Consulting, or Payments
  • You possess deep knowledge of the financial services sector and the complexities involved in procuring intangible services such as payment services and strategic advisory
  • You are comfortable working with ERP systems like SAP and Ariba
  • You demonstrate an independent, cooperative, and reliable working style
  • You maintain a detail-oriented and structured approach to your work
  • You have exceptional negotiation skills with a proven track record in securing cost savings and favourable contract terms, including negotiating Master Service Agreements (MSA) and complex Statements of Work (SOW), focusing on Service Level Agreements (SLA) management, pricing structures, and liability terms
  • You exhibit a strong analytical mindset, enabling you to translate complex data into actionable procurement strategies
  • You are fluent in English (C1 level)

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 55.700*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
