
Industrial Engineer

Capacity Planning & Resource Modeling
- Develop and maintain factory capacity models, labor forecasts, and resource planning scenarios
- Perform data-driven analysis to identify bottlenecks and capacity constraints
- Prepare reports and recommendations for site and global stakeholders
Labor Analysis & Productivity Improvement
- Conduct labor studies and workload assessments
- Develop labor standards and productivity metrics
- Identify opportunities for labor optimization and cost reduction
- Support labor performance tracking and KPI reporting
Shopfloor & Cleanroom Industrial Engineering
- Lead cleanroom optimization activities including layouts, equipment placement, and line balancing
- Drive 6S implementation and sustainment
- Support manufacturing flow improvements, space utilization, and ergonomic assessments
- Participate in manufacturing layout reviews and changes
Global IE & Continuous Improvement Support
- Participate in global Industrial Engineering initiatives and standardization programs
- Support IE ticketing requests and cross-site projects
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Excellence, or Factory Planning
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments and production operations
- Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and productivity optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or cleanroom environments
- Knowledge of MTM, time studies, and labor standards development
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, and automation of reporting processes
What We're Offering
This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group E or F depending on educational background. A higher payment is negotiable depending on education, expertise and skills. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
This position is hired through a third party agency. A valid work visa for Austria is mandatory.
