Your role

• Contribute to product innovation process with concepts, demonstrators and technical evaluation
• Solve product issues and explore improvements for future product or technology releases
• Contribute to product design and process DOEs to ensure manufacturability
• Collaborate with product marketing and application engineering to shape products for business success
• Define electrical characterization of developed components and evaluate results
• Support qualification, failure analysis and troubleshooting activities
• Support product evaluation activities in transfer projects between production sites
• Be an active part of our technical community

Your profile

• Technical university degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or similar
• 3+ years of relevant work or PhD research experience in semiconductors
• Strong device physics knowledge of semiconductor devices and power switches (Si and SiC)
• Solid skills in electric data analysis and basic knowledge of statistics
• First experience with power device specifications and datasheets
• Proven capability of technical problem solving
• Lab experience related to characterization of semiconductor devices is a plus
• Very good communication skills in English (German skills are a plus)

Employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G. The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a.
