How You´ll Make Your Mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • As a Senior Manager you are responsible for the future development of the Global Business Services (GBS) strategy in line with ALDIs global strategic priorities
  • You will be driving value creation through further developing the GBS project portfolio and strategic roadmap ownership 
  • You will be responsible for the leadership and development of the managers reporting directly to you as well as personnel leadership to their team members  
  • You will be leading the team in driving forward change management for projects and steady state operations while overlooking internal and external communication channels 
  • You will lead the design and implementation of the GBS Service Management framework and portfolio, evaluating potential and opportunities based on performance management and KPI analyses
  • As a Senior Manager you will not only be overseeing the GBS Office, but also working cross-functionally across GBS and the wider business, driving efficiencies and standardisation that support excellence in service delivery
  • You and your team will be overseeing the GBS risk and controls framework and, serving as GBS wide liaison with auditors
  • In this role you and your team will be steering the financial planning and forecasting activities, in close collaboration with the global functional controlling teams in the other ALDI countries
  • Additionally, you and your team will be building and maintaining a GBS Reporting Concept as well as executing the GBS Transfer Pricing Concept 

Your Profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • You hold a degree in business administration, business psychology, communications, HR, or similar
  • You have at least 5-10 years of professional experience in strategic and organisational development or consulting in a global environment
  • You are experienced in Service Management within a shared service or GBS organisation, with a focus on steering and monitoring SLAs/KPI incl. benchmarking
  • You have a successful track record in managing and leading change initiatives within large-scale project environments
  • You are fluent in English, German skills would be an advantage
  • Experienced in developing and implementing organisational transformation initiatives
  • You are skilled in senior leadership communication, effectively conveying strategic vision, presenting recommendations, gaining consensus and generating excitement for new ideas
  • Exceptional people-focused approach, with a talent for building relationships and influencing stakeholders in a multinational and cross-functional context
  • As a Senior Manager you are experienced in leading a team, fostering growth and collaboration 
  • You are comfortable to be part of a new and growing team and enjoy the ability to shape the future of the GBS organisation
  • You are willing to travel to support effective collaboration globally

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 122.700,-*

*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
