The impact you'll make

In this role, you will lead and guide a mechanical engineering function focused on the design, testing, support, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment for new and existing products. You will help ensure technical objectives are achieved through effective design supervision, evaluation of test and feasibility results, implementation of design changes, and delivery of proper documentation.

Supervise and support a team of engineers in technical and design activities
Manage and prioritize service tickets
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee design activities and provide supervision
Coordinate technical issues with Global Product Support
Collaborate with Product Management on requirements
Facilitate communication across engineering teams
Support development of technical solutions

Who we're looking for

Bachelor degree with 2-4 years supervisory experience
Strong mechanical engineering background
Team-oriented with supervisory skills
Experience in automation design, electro-mechanical systems, fluid systems, substrate handling, wet chemistry hardware, or testing
Clear communicator across functions
Proactive problem solver balancing operations and improvement

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
10 years relevant experience
3+ years people management
Service ticket management experience
Knowledge of product development processes
Experience driving continuous improvement
Coordination with global support teams
Semiconductor equipment experience preferred

What we're offering

Subject to Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Metal Technology Industries (occupation group G). Higher payment negotiable based on expertise. Monthly salary paid 14 times per year.
