Staff Specialist Artificial Intelligence (Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLM))

Your role

• Work as a technical expert for Generative AI / LLM Solutions & Data Integration. Specialize in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Chatbots and Agentic Systems
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in these fields and integrate this knowledge into our workflow
• Transform prototypes into production solutions with best practices for both development and deployment
• Supporting the operation of the solutions involves troubleshooting and bug fixing, as well as implementing change requests

Your profile

• A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Information Technology, Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in AIML / Data Processing including at least 1 year focusing on LLM / Generative AI
• Hands-on experience in the field of LLMs / Generative AI, Chatbots, RAG, or AI Agents
• Know-how in working with Linux Systems
• Extensive experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles (CI/CD) with proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
• Strong understanding and experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure)
• Basic understanding, and ideally experience, in working with Kubernetes

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of € 4.472,11 (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
