Test Engineer

The impact you'll make

As a Test Engineer at Lam, you'll design and implement efficient testing methods for product development and manufacturing, improving quality and reducing cycle time. You'll perform diagnostic tests, design test features and equipment, and create detailed specifications for new products. What you'll do

• Design and prepare test fixtures/equipment and executes the test followed by data evaluation
• Test set-up and execution for Components/Devices and Systems/Tools
• Execution of tests, start-up of test stand, handling of related components
• Operating various measurement systems
• Structured diagnostic and problem-solving methods during start-up and LAB testing
• Apply statistical methods for specification of reliability tests and data evaluation
• Create test documentation based on our standards and meaningful presentation of results
• Active cooperation with other colleagues on test stand or tool in our test floors or in our clean room laboratory
• Forward change requests / improvement suggestions to the developer in charge

Who we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or Technical education (Apprenticeship, HTL) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronic Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience in one of the technical fields listed above
• Excellent technical understanding and good problem-solving skills
• Analytical thinking
• Very good oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and focus on detail also with changing priorities
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Structured and organized working style

What we're offering

This position is subject to the Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement for Employees in the Metal Technology Industry in occupation group F. The monthly salary is paid 14 times per year.
