Your Role

• Ion Trap Development: Contribute to the Development and Advancements of Ion Traps
• Trap Chip Engineering: Perform Fabrication, Characterization, or Simulation of Trap Chips with Advanced Features
• Photonic Component Development: Engage in the Fabrication, Characterization, or Simulation of Photonic Components

This thesis has to be written in cooperation with an university.

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Your Profile

• Education: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Physics, Quantum Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, or a related field
• Language Skills: Fluent in English at C1 level, German language skills are a plus
• Motivation: Strong enthusiasm and dedication to contributing towards making Quantum Computing a reality
• Communication Skills: Excellent ability to convey ideas and collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary environment

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group D for master students.
