Role Summary:

We are seeking a senior, hands-on expert to support an enterprise-wide initiative focused on Enterprise Information Lifecycle Management (EILM).

The role will guide the definition of our target operating model, lifecycle framework, and architecture across archiving, content management, and data retention, with a strong focus on regulated environments (GxP).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the definition of an enterprise information lifecycle model (create ? use ? retain ? delete)

• Define a target operating model, including governance, roles, and ownership across IT, business, and compliance

• Clarify the boundary between content management and archiving

• Design high-level architecture principles for:

o application retirement and system archiving

o document and file archiving

o structured and unstructured data handling

• Provide pragmatic guidance based on real-world experience

• Challenge assumptions and ensure focus on simplicity and scalability

• Support preparation for a subsequent RFP phase (requirements, evaluation approach)

Ihre Qualifikation

Required Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in:

o enterprise archiving / application retirement

o data retention and records management

• Proven track record in end-to-end initiatives, including:

o legacy system decommissioning

o enterprise archiving platform implementations

• Strong understanding of:

o information lifecycle management concepts

o structured and unstructured data domains

• Experience in regulated industries (ideally pharma / GxP) is highly desirable

Technical & Domain Expertise

• Familiarity with platforms such as:

o SAP archiving

o OpenText, Solix, or comparable enterprise archiving solutions

• Understanding of:

o content management systems (e.g. SharePoint, DMS)

o data retention policies, legal hold, audit requirements

• Ability to translate business and compliance needs into architecture

Working Style & Profile

• Senior, hands-on expert (not purely conceptual or strategy-only)

• Able to operate independently and guide senior stakeholders

• Strong communicator across:

o IT

o business functions

o compliance/legal

• Focus on pragmatic, implementable solutions (avoid overengineering)

About:

Dauer: ASAP - 3M (mit optionaler Verlängerung)

Standort: Wien, oder (Nähe Zürich oder Stockholm wäre möglich)

Auslastung: Vollzeit
