Manufacturing Engineer

The group you’ll be a part of

This position is in the Global Products Group, dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam’s etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to solve semiconductor industry challenges.

The impact you’ll make

Support panel equipment production, resolve technical/quality challenges, and improve manufacturing processes. Oversee planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods for new/existing systems. Act as liaison with engineering for new product releases.

What you’ll do

• Provide technical support in assembly and final test
• Work with engineering to correct design errors and drive RCCA
• Improve manufacturing processes for quality, cost, and on-time delivery
• Create and deploy work instructions in manufacturing execution systems
• Estimate manufacturing costs and recommend fixturing/process requirements
• Maintain records and reporting systems
• Review designs for manufacturability (DFMA)
• Analyze build processes via pFMEA to identify risks and bottlenecks

Who we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years experience
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, preferably with electro/mechanical assemblies
• Understanding of electrical systems, manufacturing, quality, and statistical process control
• Knowledge of equipment/component manufacturing
• Quick learning ability and MES understanding
• Strong communication skills
• 3D modeling experience preferred

Preferred qualifications

• Knowledge of semiconductor equipment manufacturing

What We’re Offering

Subject to Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) for Metal Technology Industry, occupation group F. Higher payment negotiable based on skills. Monthly salary paid 14 times per year.
