The impact you'll make
- Oversees planning and control of material flow from origin to delivery point
- Manages supply chain services, inventory control, and critical parts availability
- Develops logistics plans, budgets, and procedures within budget constraints
- Provides financial reporting and inventory reconciliation
- Interacts with vendors and peers across Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Product Development
What you'll do
- Lead inbound/outbound logistics, freight management, and delivery performance
- Oversee warehouse operations including material handling and shipping
- Ensure inventory control, traceability, and availability of critical parts
- Manage reverse logistics, domestic/international transportation, and customs compliance
- Drive warehouse performance via SOPs, 5S/6S, and Lean methodologies
- Optimize inventory levels, storage, and warehouse layout
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead logistics teams and foster accountability/culture of continuous improvement
Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
- 8-12 years logistics/warehouse experience in manufacturing
- 3-5 years leadership experience managing teams
- Strong logistics knowledge (transportation, warehousing, inventory)
- Import/export and trade compliance experience
- Analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluency in English; German preferred
Preferred qualifications
- Semiconductor/high-tech manufacturing experience
- Lean/Six Sigma certification
- ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Microsoft Business Central)
- WMS/TMS familiarity
- 3PL and global logistics network management
- Hazardous materials handling knowledge
What We're Offering
Subject to Austrian Collective Bargaining Agreement (Metal Technology Industries, occupation group H). Higher payment negotiable based on skills. Monthly salary paid 14 times per year.
