Field Service Engineer 3

Lam Research seeks a Field Service Engineer 3 to provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation of complex semiconductor equipment. The role involves troubleshooting, diagnostics, and collaborative problem-solving with customers.

• Provide quality on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services of Lam's electro-mechanical and electronic systems
• Perform analytical troubleshooting and isolate issues to component level
• Maintain equipment knowledge through training and certification
• Assist in field modifications and updates, maintaining coordination records
• Serve as subject matter expert for customer satisfaction
• Troubleshoot and develop customer response action plans
• Provide technical instruction and mentoring to junior engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Engineering + 5+ years experience (or Master's + 3+ years)
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation/maintenance
• Proficiency in electrical/mechanical schematics and clean room operations
• Ability to frequently travel domestically/internationally
• Flexible to work varied shifts including overtime and on-call
