Software Developer for Data Flow Solutions f/m/d

You are looking for exciting tasks in a data centric development environment? Then this is the right position for you.

As part of an experienced and future driven, cross located international team, you will develop innovative data flow solutions and services in the area of automotive testing. Your solutions will contribute to AVL’s passion for providing the leading solutions for Battery, Fuel-Cell and E-Motor Testing. 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development and establishment of "data flow" pipelines (e.g. prefect)
• Development of web and client applications
• Close cooperation with the development teams in the areas of battery, fuel cell and electric motor testing in order to adapt the existing tools to new requirements
• Designing software architectures and studying new algorithms to improve and develop existing tools
• Writing technical and software design documentation
• Development of REST Services 
  

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed studies (FH, TU) in software engineering or computer science
• Good knowledge of software design and software architecture planning
• Experience in an agile development environment or knowledge of the agile process
• Good knowledge of Python or C# is required
• Knowledge of Linux OS, Linux Docker Containers is an advantage
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as working with international teams
• Strong initiative and analytical thinking
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €53,200.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
