How you’ll make your mark

Your main tasks in this role are:

  • In this role you will inspire confidence and foster trust across ALDI SOUTH Holding, delivering clear, timely and relevant communications that help every colleague feel informed, connected and able to make their mark
  • You’ll shape how colleagues understand the ALDI SOUTH Holding and the wider ALDI SOUTH Group, helping people grasp what we do, why we do it and how their work contributes to our shared success
  • In partnership with the Global Comms Manager/Director, you’ll set and steer the strategic direction for Internal Communications, aligning priorities with organisational goals and our business strategy. Within this, you’ll oversee operational delivery and planning, managing team workload, resources and deadlines so multiple projects can be executed efficiently and to a high standard
  • In addition, you’ll create impactful, engaging content across multiple formats, from articles and videos to Town Halls and digital updates, ensuring information is accessible and meaningful for all colleagues
  • You’ll lead and develop a high-performing Internal Communications team, setting clear direction, coaching your two direct reports and cultivating an inclusive, supportive and empowered team culture
  • Furthermore, you’ll build strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders at every level (including senior leaders), to ensure communication is aligned, credible and well-informed
  • You will guide the creative direction of campaigns and communications, shaping ideas, advising on tactics and supporting the creation of clear briefs for internal teams and agencies
  • Within this, you’ll oversee operational delivery and planning, managing team workload, resources and deadlines so multiple projects can be executed efficiently and to a high Standard

Your profile

The requirements of the role include:

  • As a Team Leader you’ll have a university degree or equivalent
  • You have exceptional writing and storytelling skills. You can simplify complexity, create clarity at speed and craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences, and are fluent in English 
  • Strong stakeholder management belongs to your core competencies. You can advise with senior leaders with confidence 
  • You have a strategic mindset, and you can understand business priorities, anticipate communication risks, and know how to connect employees to the bigger picture
  • Channel management expertise is part of your skill set, including digital platforms (intranet, collaboration tools, internal social channels) and event communications
  • You are comfortable with data and analytics, using insights to refine strategy and demonstrate impact
  • You can work in fast-moving environments, managing multiple deadlines without compromising quality
  • You are an inclusive, audience-centric thinker, ensuring communications reflect our business, our people and the retail realities
  • You bring to this position a collaborative, ‘get it done’ approach by building trust across teams and acting as a reliable partner to the business

Remuneration

Gross annual salary starting from € 76.450*
*willingness to overpay with appropriate qualifications
